WHAT WE DO: STRATEGY
JVI seeks to support the justice ventures through a network of professionals, donors and others committed to doing justice.

Prayer Alliance
JVI is committed to building an alliance of prayer partners to pray for justice ventures, victims of injustice and their perpetrators, and the ministry of JVI. JVI circulates periodic prayer requests and reports on God’s answers to prayer, and organizes other initiatives, to enable prayer partners to join with us in praying for the work of justice. Pray with JVI.

Justice Resource Centers
JVI is in the process of establishing Justice Resource Centers in the regions where it works to identify and assess the needs of justice ventures, define professional service engagements, assist justice ventures in applying for funding and other sources, and monitor and evaluate justice ventures’ performance. Professional services, provided by both local and off-shore professionals, will address four distinct phases of each justice venture’s development process — identifying the human rights violations, designing an appropriate intervention strategy, building the justice venture’s capacity to implement intervention strategies effectively, and evaluating the chosen strategy and its implementation.

Justice Process Outsourcing
Globalization and the information technology revolution have transformed the way companies conduct business. Many U.S. companies outsource certain services to foreign countries such as India and China. JVI is adapting this business strategy and putting it to work in the reverse direction, outsourcing justice work to volunteers based in the U.S. that are committed to pursue justice in other areas of the world. Volunteer with JVI.

Justice Venture Funds
JVI currently provides funding to justice ventures through two different funds, the JVI General Fund and the Justice Venture Sponsorship Fund. The JVI General Fund consists of contributions received by JVI without restriction and are used for both JVI general operations and to support justice ventures whereas, through the Justice Venture Sponsorship Fund, donors can make a contribution in the minimum amount of $1,000 while retaining the right to recommend the use of those funds to sponsor one or more justice ventures identified by JVI. In the future, JVI plans to establish a Justice Venture Revolving Loan Fund to provide investors with an opportunity to provide debt capital to justice ventures engaged in microfinance operations, affordable housing development, and other justice-related work. Financially support JVI.

Research
JVI conducts research regarding justice ventures and documents “best practices” to inform justice ventures and policy makers regarding effective strategies to eradicate various forms of injustice.
